I am Isis du Jour.
A while ago, during my first trip to India, I first came into contact with yoga. Before that time I had taking some classes before, but never immersed myself further.
Initially I used yoga to feel fit and to feel more relaxed and to find more balance in my busy life. Since then I have tried and practiced several styles of yoga.Yoga has always been in my life, but some periods it has been more on the background. Until I realized and felt the effect it has, the moment you integrate yoga into your daily life and start practicing intensively.
Through further study, not only the physical part of yoga, but also on the philosophy, I was convinced that it had to be a part of my life. I have followed the teacher training Vinyasa Flow Yoga at Yogagarden in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. A valuable experience and learning process.
I also regularly follow trainings and workshops by various (international) teachers in different styles and disciplines. I teach dynamic yoga classes, in which I find personal attention for the students important. Not just active classes, but also a focus on meditation, breathing and relaxation. I love music and use this element in my classes.
